VeloPlus Cycle – Wheelchair Transporter – no more issues with handling and lifting
Rigid frame Price from £5,233
(price includes puncture proof smart guard tyres)
The VeloPlus is a special needs trike otherwise known as a wheelchair transporter bike for wheelchair users to enjoy a bicycle ride outdoors, whilst still remaining in their own chair.
The passenger does not have to be transferred from their wheelchair to the Veloplus. They can be wheeled on to the plateau of the cycle easily without having to be lifted. The tilted ramp makes it easy to roll the wheelchair onto the Veloplus and it is then secured with the wheelchair lock. Like all other Van Raam bicycles, the VeloPlus has a quality frame produced at Van Raam in the Netherlands.
