To book a demo simply complete this form. Please include as much detail as possible. This enables our assessor to prepare for a fulfilling assessment and demonstration that is relevant to you.
At Tomcat, custom building is a core part of our business. It’s the cornerstone of the service we provide and accounts for our success in finding solutions to all kinds of mobility issues. If we do not have an answer within our portfolio, but feel we would be able to help, we will custom build a solution for you.
For our UK customers we like to do a personal assessment in order that we can understand your needs from both a health and practical perspective. Whilst we have our Gloucester and Shrewsbury showrooms where you can view our products and have an assessment – if you live further away or simply prefer it, we will come to you.
So if you’re interested to see whether Tomcat can give you or your child extra freedom and independence, book a demo.
A demo means two things: one of our experienced assessors will assess how we can help you, and you’ll be able to try out a series of our products.
All this will be done with appropriate safety measures according to the current Government guidelines.
From this session, the assessor will create an in-depth picture of your specific abilities and difficulties, before formulating a plan as to how we can enable you to achieve your cycling goals.
Demos are completely free with no obligation to buy, and we will visit you at home or at a location of your choice, such as work or school.
Our expert assessor will talk to you about the best solution for you, demonstrate the appropriate products and features, and assess which innovations and equipment will best support your objectives.
If the trike is for a child, we prefer to meet your child at the assessment. We will assess how your child moves and interacts with our demo equipment, what special provisions might be necessary and what you want for your child and family. We will use the data from this assessment to create a bespoke solution which will appropriately support your child.
During the appointment we will also take the time to answer any questions and demonstrate some of our key innovations, features and products.
The demo will last at least an hour – possibly up to two hours for adult appointments.
Our assessor will talk to you at the end of your appointment about his recommendations. If there are a number of options, he or she will clearly outline the pros and cons of each.
The assessor will then take the technical notes back to our office where they will be reviewed by a technician and converted into a quotation. This review will ensure the proposed solution or special provisions are workable, and any queries will be resolved with you, before finalising the spec. The quotation will fully specify the proposed trike and give a final costing, including set up, training and delivery. It is part of our policy that we do not trouble our customers with follow up calls and there is no pressure to buy – but we are happy to discuss your quote with you at any time.
To secure a private order, we will ask for a deposit for your Tomcat trike. If your order is to be funded by a charity we will agree payment terms directly with them when they confirm their support for your order. The lead time for new builds is usually around 6-8 weeks, depending on the time of year, supply chain status and product demand.
We are very proud of the fact we always find a solution to our customer’s difficulties, no matter how complicated they may be.
We do understand, however, that in complex cases, putting your trust in us may be a daunting prospect and that’s why we offer our money back pledge. This means that if we build you a customised trike that does not fulfil your needs, or meet your requirements as you expected, then you do not need to accept it and we will give you a full refund.
We hope this removes any concerns you may have and allows you to explore the potential Tomcat can offer.
