Tomcat trike donation brings excitement and opportunity to Forest of Dean pupils

When Tomcat delivered a specialist trike to Bream C of E Primary School, the sense of excitement was immediate. The school, known for its inclusive ethos and commitment to accessible play, welcomed the donation with open arms—recognising the potential it holds for pupils of all abilities.

One teacher shared the hopes they have for the trike:
“We hope it will allow all of the children to have better accessibility with cycling. Specifically with C, we hope it gives him more opportunity to join in on our cycling activities and play with his friends.”

The moment the trike was unveiled made a lasting impression.

“When we first saw the trike, all we could say was ‘wow’—it’s so amazing. I’m shocked at what he is now able to achieve.”

Although the trike has only just arrived, the school is already looking forward to seeing how it can help foster confidence, mobility, and connection in the playground and beyond.

“This trike will mean he can now move around and be more involved in play with his friends—and be more independent.”

At Tomcat, we’re proud to support schools like Bream C of E that champion inclusive participation. We look forward to hearing how the trike makes a difference for C and his classmates in the weeks to come.
